Armor & Weapon

Armor Sets (the Mastery line)

The backbone of progression, identical for every class. Modern sets are shared and you evolve them step-by-step in the Chaos Machine. The chain is:

Bloodangel → Darkangel → Holyangel → Awakening Soul → Blue Eye → Silver Heart → Manticore → Brilliant → Apocalypse → Lightning

Level gates per tier:

Tier Level
Bloodangel 400
Darkangel 600
Holyangel 800
Awakening Soul 900
Blue Eye 1,000
Silver Heart 1,100
Manticore 1,200
Brilliant / Apocalypse / Lightning beyond

How to get and upgrade them: NPC Priest James in Elbeland sells Sealed Bloodangel armor for Ruud, and the sealed item can be upgraded several times. Ruud comes mostly from mini-games such as Maze of Dimensions (after becoming a tier 3 class), plus events. Each evolution needs a specific Soul/Anvil item: Holyangel → Soul requires Awakening Soul; Soul → Blue Eye requires Blue Eye Soul; Blue Eye → Silver Heart requires Silver Heart Soul; Silver Heart → Manticore requires Manticore Soul; and so on.

Class quirk: A few classes have slot restrictions on this line (the Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord historically can't wear a helm, for example), so the set may be a 4-piece for them rather than 5. Check what your class can actually equip.

Practical advice: Don't over-invest jewels into an early tier, since each Chaos Machine combination resets the item's +level and Jewel of Life bonus. Get each tier usable, push to the next, then pour resources in once you're near your level ceiling.

Weapons

Every class uses the same Mastery weapon naming line as the armor (Bloodangel weapon → Darkangel → ... → Lightning), upgraded with Ruud anvils from Priest James. Within that line, each class equips its own weapon type — sword, staff, bow/crossbow, scepter, mace, wand, glove/fist, spear, etc. — but the upgrade mechanics are the same regardless.

A representative step: a Darkangel weapon needs a Bloodangel weapon at +11/+16 add damage, a Darkangel Anvil, plus 30 Bless, 30 Soul, 1 Chaos and 1 Creation. This scales up to the top end, where a Lightning weapon needs an Apocalypse weapon +11 or higher with +16 add damage and a Lightning Anvil (roughly 100,000 Ruud each).

Universal priorities: Keep the weapon +level and excellent/luck options as high as possible, since those preserve through combinations. Pick the weapon type that matches your class's main damage skill and buffs. If your class can dual-wield or use a shield, decide based on whether you're prioritizing offense or survivability.
